Great Visit!

Posted on
To day I did get to see my son fro 11:00am-3:30pm. He lost his to front teef on the bottom and talk a little funny. It was so cute. He put them under his pillow and got a few bucks for them. He seemed glad to see me. I know I was sure glad to finally see him. I showed him the work I was dong on my nieces car and let him take a few bolts out. He thought that was awesome! I wish I had time to show him more thing like that he is so smart  he would be able to understand how it all works to make the car go.
I asked him about the Halloween package of goodies I sent him and he told me he got them on Monday 10/31. He said he was so surprised and thanked me with a hug and kiss. (sweet:)
He wanted to climb the big tree in the back yard and I helped him up as far as he would dare to go and took a few pictures from near the ground. It made him look way up in the tree. He thought that was neat too. I tried to convince him to take off his training wheels but he said "maybe next time". Oh well, he’ll get it one day. It is very hard for him to go thought he grass with them on and he hates it because he can’t go fast. I tell him if he took the t. wheels off he could go faster. He like to make skid marks in the dirt by locking the brakes up.He tries to make the longest one he can. I remember doing the same thing when I was younger. He reminds me of myself at his age. the way he smiles and says certain things. He asks me how things work and why, the same questions I used to ask. There is so much we could learn from each other it is a shame the time is being wasted. It can never made up for.
We go by the plane in the pics every visit. It got "broken" some how. I think a storm hit it or maybe a car. I told him I would try to find out and let him know. When I used to drive him myself we’d go up to it and look inside and I would tell what little I knew about it. He was surprised to see how huge it was up close, the wheels were as big as he was back then.
Our time went fast as usual. Before I knew it I had to be taking him home. I brought some old Spider-Man comics from ’91 for him to keep and check out. They were like new I showed him how to read them. I do not think he ever saw one before. I hope his mom doesn’t get mad at me for giving him the comic books. I gave them to him to perhaps collect them not so much to read them. I got about two hundred of them for $10 at a garage sale. Many of the are like new and # 1’s of series’. I like him reading and he likes Spider-Man.
I will miss his smile for two weeks until I hope to get to see him (trouble free) again

  1. I’m glad you had another great visit with your son. Losing teeth is bitter/sweet, first there’s the pain, then there’s the payoff. LOL I was looking through your pics and your cat looks just like mine. I’ll have to dig up a picture of him and put him on my site. My house is a zoo, complete with a dog, a cat, a fish, a lizard and kids. LOLHave a great Sunday!

  2. I am so glad that you finally got to see your son. That is so special and I am so happy for you. I think that is great that you are getting to see him this week. That was semi-nice of her. You guys look like you have so much fun, you really should take some pictures of you and your son. I know you usually have someone else there with you, You should really get some of those. You may regret it later that you are not in any of the pictures. You dont have to post them here, just take some and make sure you have them. Glad you had a wonderful day and that everyone was so happy.
