All Is Well!

Posted on
Hi, I do not have so much time any more to write like I used to. I have a lot more to do now that I have a bigger role to play in my Son’s life. I sadly do not think of my blog as much but I still plan to write. I am used to writing it 1st with note pad then put in blog, now I just type it in as I go so I probably could write about more stuff but do not like to stop and go. I seem to loose what I write if I let it sit too long before I click publish.
Logan got his report card from school to day and it was good but he could have done a lot better. He has half days through Thursday and I will be picking him up those days and we will find something fun to do for the afternoon. We might go bowling again, he’s been bugging me to take him again.
My ex has started her own Space and I will be linking it to mine so all can check out. It is still being put together and should be done in a few days. She is not too into it yet. She will be when she starts getting comments, I hope. I felt really bad but she read most of all my entries and did a lot of crying. I do not think she thought too much about how I felt and now she does.
Got to go for now… tom g

  1. Hey there! A quick post now and then to check in is all we need – spending time with your son is top priority! I am glad that it is working out so far. 🙂

  2. Good for you Tom. Like Jen said, just keep checkin in and letting us know how you are. Your son may like to join a jr. bowling league. All my kids bowled on them as well as high school teams. It’s a good way to get him interested in joining other activities as well as a motivator for his school work. Take care!Deb

  3. I just wanted to check in and say hello. I’m glad to hear that things are going well for you and your son’s mother. Believe me when I say I know how hard it can be when you don’t get along. And about her reading the comments left on your site…sometimes that realization is a bitter pill to swallow. I know it hurts but hopefully she’ll use that as a stepping stone. Only she can make that change and maybe the anger management is a step in that direction.Keep us updated on his school situation. It’s not completely abnormal for kids to act out like that when they start school. My little brother (now 6) was suspended from school his first week of kindergarden. He went half days for about a month until they realized why he was acting up. In his case it was to get sent to the other classroom they put him in when he was too disruptive for his regular class. Now they’ve made it a reward, when he’s good he can go to that class. It’s hard to find the balance between positive reinforcement and punishment without really crushing their spirit. Again, keep us updated and good luck with finding the balance.

  4. Wow, so much has happened since my last visit. I am so happy for you. I don’t have a whole lot of time on my hands either but I will check in now and then. Take care – Bunny

  6. Tom, I have been reading your divorce saga for the last few days, right now, I’m in the month of September of last year and so far I have experienced-from afar- the emotions you have gone through. I admire your fortitude to put up with so much and yet, it doesn’t surprise me that you have been able to do it because of the love between you and Logan. How fortunate you are to have him. And now back to reading the entries for the month of October. Wishing you the best, tu amigo – Gil
