Why do people say they can’t say Merry Christmas anymore? Will they explode? Stores started that bc they wanted to get people into the store to buy and not offend anyone’s religion with decor from one religion only. They do it to make more $$. When you at the register and they say “happy holidays” just say back “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Hanukkah” … I promise you won’t turn into a puddle of water or anything. Now it would be diff if it was a Christian store decorations…they logically might have some Christian symbolism in there. Also most people I know would not care one bit about offending someone for saying their greetings for this holiday!
